Menu for week of 4.21.08

This week we are in Ethiopia and Chef Jess' menu looks great! Here is what the littles will be eating:

Monday -
Snack - Fruit & granola
Lunch - Spinach with garlic and injera (Ethiopian flatbread) and corn salad

Tuesday -
Snack - Cheerios & soymilk
Lunch - Ethiopian spiced black beans and yatakele kilkil (Ethiopian veggies with garlic and ginger)

Wednesday -
Snack - Homemade granola bars
Lunch - Carrots and cabbage and chickpea wot (Ethiopian stew)

Thursday -
Snack - Applesauce
Lunch - Onions with yam flour and injera

Friday -
Snack - Dabokolo (Ethiopian bread stick snack) with fruit
Lunch - Lentils and yams with cucumbers
